Overview Collège Jean-Eudes didn't just want a turf upgrade. They wanted a facility that made athletes proud to train harder.

We tackled this one in two phases.
Phase one: tear out the old turf and build something better — faster, safer, and branded.
Phase two: come back and add fully customized strength equipment that hit just as hard as the turf did.

Two projects. One goal: give student-athletes a space that reflects the intensity they bring to the game.

The Challenge The old turf had issues. It was laid the wrong way — perpendicular to use. Over time, it curled. That meant uneven footing, more risk of injury, and a frustrating training experience.

Once we solved that problem, the school came back with a bigger vision: "Let's take the gym to the next level."

That meant custom racks, benches, plates — all built to look like Jean-Eudes and perform like a real training facility. Not a basic high school weight room.

The space had lots of tricky cutouts. Every square foot had to earn its place. We couldn't just fill it with gear. It had to be smart, solid, and built to last.

The Solution

Phase 1: The Turf
We re-installed the turf parallel to usage, eliminating the curling issue for good. We added the school's red and black colours and their Eagles logo, directly into the turf. And we tailored every inch of it — custom cutouts, clean edges, no wasted space.

Now, the sprint lanes, sled zones, and deceleration areas feel like they were designed with athletes in mind — because they were.

Phase 2: The Custom Strength Zone

Anti-vibration flooring to handle dropped weights without a sound

Every detail? Dialed in. This wasn't just about putting equipment in a room. It was about giving Jean-Eudes athletes a facility that lives up to their work ethic.
