Location: Ste-Julie, Québec
Objective: Design a space that makes fitness approachable and effective for a senior clientele.

Overview Havre du Cerf was built as a refuge, a place where residents, especially seniors, could feel at ease. But aging doesn’t mean slowing down. It means training differently. The facility’s new gym reflects that idea: a safe, practical, and well-rounded space that encourages daily movement while respecting the needs of an older population.

The Challenge Design a space that makes fitness approachable and effective for a senior clientele. Equipment had to be easy to use, safe to navigate, and supportive of a wide range of physical capabilities, without compromising on versatility or cleanliness.

The Solution We delivered a layout and product selection tailored to the real-world needs of this aging (but active) demographic:

  • 4-Stack Dual Series multistation
  • Recumbent bikes
  • Treadmills and ellipticals
  • Air rower
  • Adjustable benches
  • Dumbbells
  • Resistance bands
  • Organized storage for a clean, inviting look

Why It Works The gym at Havre du Cerf isn’t about pushing limits. It’s about staying strong, independent, and mobile. With thoughtfully chosen equipment and a clutter-free layout, this gym empowers residents to maintain an active lifestyle in a setting that feels welcoming and safe.
