Create a branded condo gym that carries the building's identity and makes the most of a modest space.
Overview
Carré de la Gare is a rental condo building north of Montreal, developed by Habitations PHG. The developer gives each of its buildings its own identity and wanted the gym to carry that identity as well. Alpha Fitness equipped the condo gym with custom gym equipment branded with the Carré de la Gare logo, along with cardio machines and versatile strength equipment chosen to make the most of a modest room. Alpha Fitness designed the layout, supplied the equipment and flooring, and handled the installation.
What Makes This Gym Unique
Custom logo dumbbells
Every dumbbell is printed with the Carré de la Gare logo and its weight. The dumbbells are urethane, a hard, smooth coating used on commercial dumbbells.
Statement turf
A strip of black artificial turf with white lines and the building's name is set into the rubber floor, running across the middle of the room between the cardio area and the strength area.
An all-in-one strength station
A single Alpha station combines a Smith machine, a functional trainer, and a pull-up bar, giving residents three ways to train in the floor space of one machine.
The Challenge
A modest room had to hold cardio, strength training, and open floor space, so every piece of condo gym equipment had to earn its place. The gym also needed to feel like it belonged to Carré de la Gare specifically, not like a standard fitness room that could sit in any building.

Branded free weights
Urethane dumbbells printed with the Carré de la Gare logo, stored on a two-tier Alpha dumbbell rack along the window wall.
Strength station
An Alpha all-in-one station combining a Smith machine, which guides the barbell along fixed rails with safety catches so residents can lift without a spotter, and a functional trainer, which uses two adjustable cable pulleys for a wide range of exercises. It also has a multi-grip pull-up bar and built-in weight plate storage.
Adjustable benches
Two Alpha adjustable benches that move from flat to upright for pressing, rowing, and seated exercises.
Custom turf
A turf strip with the building's name, used for lunges, stretching, and floor exercises.
Rubber flooring
Speckled black rubber flooring across the whole gym, with the logo turf set into it.
Cardio
Two treadmills, an elliptical, a recumbent bike, and an indoor cycling bike.
The result is a branded condo gym where the building's identity appears on the equipment residents use every day, with cardio, strength, and floor training fitted into one modest room.
